Tom Wilkinson - Yorkshire - 73 Years

Tom Wilkinson first found fame in 1976, starring ITV's notable miniseries First Among Equals. An alumnus of the Academy of Dramatic Art, the English actor's passion for acting helped garner significant roles in several high-grossing films. The millennial audiences have best remembered Wilkinson's Emmy-winning portrayal of Benjamin Franklin in the 2008 miniseries John Adams. He has also won the Oscar nominations for the films In the Bedroom and Michael Clayton.

Tom perhaps believes he still has a lot to contribute to the international cinema, and so hasn't planned on departing from our screens yet. We've last seen the movie icon's genius in a March 2021-released action thriller SAS: Red Notice.

Vanessa Redgrave - London - 84 Years

Arguably London's most famous daughter, the British and American film industries have been blessed by the talent of Vanessa Redgrave for the last six decades, and that doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon. Especially with Vanessa's stellar appearance in the 2021-released rom-com Finding You, admirers can rest assured that this diva has several projects lined up for the future.

The sterling actress first tiptoed into the spotlight as Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre. Today, Redgrave's impressive portfolio includes notable features in the movies Isadora, Atonement, and The Bostonians. No wonder the icon bagged the Triple Crown of Acting years ago!

Why stop when you still have it? That's the philosophy of Michael Crawford, an English actor/comedian who has still not retired, even though he's 79 years old. Proving that age is just a number, Crawford is still dedicating to his number-one passion, even though he hasn't worked since 2019, the year he made it to an episode of the TV series Private Eyes.

A West End and Broadway superstar, Crawford is best known for his screen roles in Hello, Dolly!, Condorman, and Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. Crawford is also a dedicated philanthropist who's been the Sick Children's Trust leader since the late '80s.

Mary Ward - 106 Years Old - Enjoying Her Retirement Since 2000

At the age of 106, it's no surprise that Mary Ward is the oldest living actress in Australia. However, the correct term would be 'former actress' since Ward decided to retire from show business in 2000. Since then, she's been enjoying her retirement, and her golden years have been blessed with great health and outstanding longevity.

Known for Prisoner, Sons and Daughters, and The Henderson Kids, Ward was also an acclaimed radio announcer in Australia. She was one of the first female radio professionals to ever work in the country. For years, before her retirement, she was popularized for portraying elderly characters in soap operas.

Trevor Eve – Sutton Coldfield, 70 Years Old

Well, well, well. It looks like Waking The Dead Trevor Eve has completed his transformation into a silver fox! Still looking fantastic and vibrant in his 70s, the Sutton Coldfield native continues to entertain British audiences as he stars in the fantasy series A Discovery Of Witches, which released its second season in January 2021.

His current success is made all the more impressive by what he went through in life. In his 40s, Eve experienced an acute emotional collapse. It took a lot of personal work and intensive psychotherapy to pull him out of that dark inner void.

CHRISTOPHER WALKEN – 78 YEARS OLD – BUSY AS A SOUGHT-AFTER ACTOR

There's no other smooth-talker in Hollywood like Christopher Walken. Heck, the 78-year-old celeb is one of his generation's best actors! His astounding acting talent is showcased in films such as The Deer Hunter, Catch Me If You Can, Annie Hall, and Pulp Fiction. If that doesn't convince you, his seven Saturday Night Live guest-hosting stint might.

As of 2021, Walken is starring as Burt in the drama/thriller TV show Severance. Before this, he worked on Wild Mountain Thyme, a 2020 romantic film. Now, he is also set to appear in the TV series The Offenders, currently in pre-production.

JULIE GOODYEAR - CORONATION STREET - 79 YEARS

"Coronation Street" fans certainly miss the English actress Julie Goodyear, known for her portrayal of the character of 'Bet Lynch'. Before leaving the soap in 2003, Goodyear appeared in an unbelievable 1,189 episodes after making her debut in 1966. While she's never announced her retirement, Goodyear is believed to be focusing on enjoying her golden years; she hasn't acted on screen since 2006 when she appeared in the short "Tug of War."

But with or without acting, the one-and-only Goodyear is still making headlines all over the British press. In 2021, she was highlighted by Manchester Evening News after donating iconic jewelry to support Tameside's hospice.
