Susan Dey was a household name during the '70s, which only became possible with her portrayal of Laurie Partridge in "The Partridge Family" between 1970 and 1974. She also did some impressive work in "L. A. Law," for which she even received a "Golden Globe Award."

Dey is now retired. She has been so since 2004, which was when she appeared in "Third Watch." Now going on 33 years with her husband, Bernard Sofronski, the mother of one is staying away from the spotlight and enjoying her $10 million fortune at her New York home.

TINA LOUISE – 87 YEARS OLD - NOT YET RETIRED BUT NOT AS ACTIVE AS BEFORE

Tina Louise, who gave life to Ginger Grant on the "CBS" sitcom "Gilligan's Island" during the '60s, did an excellent job portraying her role. Her career has been on a steady journey up since then, until the twenty-first century, when it began to stall substantially.

Louise has only played a few roles in the previous two decades; the most recent being Rose on "Tapestry" in 2019. As of 2021, Louise is the only living cast member of "Gilligan's Island." We wonder how she feels about it.  She currently resides in New York and is lucky to have one child to care for her during her aged years.

Clint Eastwood – 91 Years Old - Still Making Movies

If his movie roles are anything to go by, Clint Eastwood is one of the toughest guys in the world. From his role as The Man With No Name in the Dollar Trilogy to his roles as anti-hero cop Harry Calahan aka Dirty Harry, the man oozes a sense of toughness and straight talk that makes him intimidating.

It’s unclear if that tough exterior is so tough in person, but he has managed to produce the success he had on screen, behind the lens as well with his Oscar-winning films Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby. His last work was on the film Richard Jewel, which picked up an Oscar nomination in 2020.

Vera Miles – 91 Years Old – Enjoys Retirement Away From The Spotlight

The last time that Vera Miles undertook a project was in 1995 when she played in Separate Lives. Today she is 91 years old, enjoying her retirement in her Palm Desert house in California. She prefers to keep as far away from the spotlight as possible.

Vera’s performances will never be forgotten. After all, she got to star in some of Hitchcock’s films, including Psycho and its sequel. She’s been under the spotlight since graduating high school and winning the Miss Kansas title in the late ‘40s. It’s safe to assume that she’s now taking a well-deserved rest, with her $8-million fortune.

Cher – 76 Years Old – Still Appearing at LGBTQIA+ Events

More than an American singer/actress, the one and only Cherilyn Sarkisian (or Cher) is one of music's ultimate divas and a prominent LBGTQIA+ symbol. In 2022, she collaborated with Donatella Versace for a Pride Month capsule collection, proving that she's still as active (and relevant) as before. She's been a central show-biz figure since the '60s.

Even though Cher's praised for her style and ongoing humanitarian projects, she's best known for her successful music career. Thanks to songs as beloved as "Believe," "After All," and "Strong Enough," she sold a reported 100 million records and landed one of the highest-grossing tours ever: the $250-million Living Proof: The Farewell Tour.

Hits like "Cuore" and "Il Ballo del mattone" cemented her as a pop sensation, earning her a spot on "The Ed Sullivan Show" and collaborations with Diana Ross. White is one of the few (and fortunate) people who didn't have to chase after work and instead had projects lining up to her. Some of her best-known works include "Crossfire" and "The Narrow Margin." Her justification for leaving was her marriage, which sounded reasonable at the time. Fortunately, she did not sacrifice her profession for a squandered marriage because it lasted until her husband died in 2000.

JERRY MATHERS - 73 YEARS OLD - MAINTAINING A BLOG

When Jerry Mathers' parents signed him up to appear in a commercial when he was two years old, they probably didn't expect him to become a star in the entertainment industry. His acting career began at the age of six. He didn't get much attention until 1957 when he played Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver in the film "Leave It to Beaver."

It was his most well-known role, which he later revived in 1983 for "The New Leave It to Beaver."  Mathers' final film and television performances were on "Will To Power" and "Mother Goose Parade in 2008." Mathers now maintains a blog, and you can read it online.

Ralph Carter played the youngest son in the '70s sitcom "Good Times" and won the audience's hearts with his performance. He started acting on the show when he was a teenager, and he worked in theater as well around the same time. For his performance in the Broadway musical "Raisin," he was nominated for a Tony Award.

He also dabbled in music, and in 1975, he recorded an album titled "When You're Young and in Love." He is alive and well but has since retired. Now, he works with an organization that supports Black theater.

Lydon's career as an actor began in 1939, and he remained busy until 1987 when he made his final appearance on "St. Elsewhere." Only a couple of years away from hitting a century, Lydon  is most remembered by those from his time for his appearances on "Tom Brown's School Days" and "Life with Father."

JOYCE DEWITT – 72 YEARS OLD - STILL MAKES APPEARANCES

Joyce DeWitt's acting career reached its pinnacle in 1977, when she landed the role of Janet Wood on the "ABC" sitcom "Three's Company."  This lovely actress has now gone past her retirement age although, she hasn't changed much, appearance-wise.

DeWitt's most recent roles, according to "IMDb," was as Detective Randi Toney on "The Savant" in 2019 and Rita in "Scattered, Smothered & Covered Christmas" in 2020.  She is also a generous person who works tirelessly to end world poverty and homelessness. There isn't much to say about her personal life other than that she never walked down the aisle. Yes, she lived her life out as a bachelor.

JUDD HIRSCH - 86 YEARS OLD - STILL MAKING APPEARANCES

Unlike some of the stars from the olden days, Judd Hirsch's career never faded away with time. It has been over five decades since the launch of his career, and he is still going strong. For instance, he has recurring roles in the ongoing television shows "Big Mouth" and "The Goldbergs."

However, those from his generation will always remember him for his portrayals of Alex Rieger in "Taxi" and John Lacey in "Dear John." The father of three has won multiple accolades during his lengthy career, including Emmy, Tony, and Golden Globe Awards.

She appeared in movies such as "Demetrius and the Gladiators" and "The Rookie," as well as television productions like "My Living Doll" and, of course, "Batman."  Her most prominent role to this day is that of Catwoman on "Batman," a character she went on to voice in the animated "Batman" films in 2016 and 2017.

"Cat Scratch Fever," released in 1977, is the biggest hit of the man many know as "The Nuge." Nugent is more than just a musician, though. An outspoken activist, he's a board member of the National Rifle Association and one of the most famous opposers of gun-control policies in the United States.

KATHARINE ROSS – 81 YEARS OLD - NOT YET RETIRED BUT NOT AS ACTIVE AS BEFORE

Katharine Ross went through four divorces before meeting actor Sam Elliott, who became her soulmate. Fortunately, she didn't have to work too hard to become successful in her field. She was born in Hollywood, which provided her with a good understanding of how things operated in the entertainment industry.

Ross has received numerous awards for her appearances in films such as "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," "The Graduate," "Voyage of the Damned," and "The Stepford Wives."  Her acting career has slowed dramatically since she went into her 80s, and no one blames her. She does, however, make appearances on occasion, such as in the 2019 movie "Attachments."

KATHLEEN TURNER – 67 YEARS OLD - STILL MAKING APPEARANCES

Kathleen Turner's unusual raspy voice is one of her most distinguishing features. She rose to fame in the '80s as a result of her roles in films such as "Prizzi's Honor," "Peggy Sue Got Married," and "The War of Roses," all of which earned her multiple award nominations.

Turner is still actively involved in the sector. She has been playing Roz's character on "The Kominsky Method" since 2019, which is why the year 2020 must have been particularly busy for her due to her appearances in "Mom," "Summer Camp Island," and "Wizards." Turner seems to have got her life back together after going through several personal struggles like her divorce.

MADELINE SMITH – 72 YEARS OLD - STILL A WORKING ACTRESS

No matter how many roles she's played, nothing compares to getting the opportunity to play a Bond girl. Madeline Smith is a British actress who modeled during the late '60s thanks to her attractive looks. Miss Caruso, the Bond girl she played in "Live and Let Die" in 1973, is without a question her most critically appreciated role.

Since then, Smith has been in films such as "The Vampire Lovers," "The Love Ban," and, most recently, a short film named "Crazy B*tch Blues" in 2020. Since 1989, Smith has been widowed, raising her only child as a single mother.

MARION ROSS – 93 YEARS OLD  RETIRED FROM THE INDUSTRY

The fact that we won't be able to watch Marion Ross's acting skills on TV again is heartbreaking. However, knowing that she is now in her 90s, we can only wish her well. Ross announced her retirement in 2018. She was well recognized for playing Marion Cunningham on the "ABC" series "Happy Days."

Ross had approximately 200 acting credits when she retired, including highlights such as "The Drew Carey Show," "Gilmore Girls," and "Brothers & Sisters."  Ross is currently residing in Cardiff by the Sea in Encinitas, California, where she is said to be enjoying her retirement in solitude with breathtaking vistas.

MARSHA HUNT – 104 YEARS OLD - RETIRED FROM THE INDUSTRY

Marsha Hunt's appearance seems quite impressive for someone who has lived past a century, wouldn't you agree? She is a retired actress and model who has worked in the industry for over 70 years. Her resume is lengthy, but some of the highlights are "Raw Deal," "Pride and Prejudice," and "Easy to Take."

Since her documentary "Marsha Hunt's Sweet Adversity" came out in 2014, Hunt hasn't been seen much, which would be expected, given her age. She's done very well, especially considering her McCarthyism-era blacklisting in Hollywood. As of 2021, she is one of the last surviving stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood.

LINDA EVANGELISTA - 56 YEARS OLD - WITHDRAWN FROM PUBLIC LIFE

Voted the 'Greatest Supermodel of All Time' in 2008, the Canadian beauty symbol Linda Evangelista has been away from public life for a while now. One of the wealthiest women in fashion, Evangelista hasn't been on camera since 2016, the year she made a brief appearance in "Extra."

But in 2021, news of Evangelista's status surfaced, even if not for the best reasons. Sadly, Evangelista explained that her departure from public life was caused by a cosmetic procedure that took a heavy toll on her looks and confidence. She's since taken the company responsible for the procedure to the court.

CINDY CRAWFORD - 55 YEARS OLD - STILL ACTIVE

The glamorous former model/actress Cindy Crawford is still one of America's best-known beauty symbols. After quitting the runway, Crawford expanded into the business world and even purchased the Hollywood deli Nate 'n Al, effectively preventing it from closing doors. As an actress, Crawford is perhaps best known for her appearances in "Fair Game" and "Cougar Town."

Pretty much still active, Crawford was very busy in 2021. She recreated one of her iconic Pepsi ads for charity, sold the Beverly Hills home she shared with her husband Rande Gerber for $13.5 million, and made a special appearance in "Friends: The Reunion."

Kevin Costner – 67 Years Old – As John Dutton III on Yellowstone

Kevin Costner captured the hearts of millions with his remarkable performances in films such as "Bull Durham" and "Dances with Wolves." The two-time Oscar winner has dipped his hand in many other pies too. The actor was named the formal Grand Marshal at the 2007 NASCAR Cup Series Auto Club 500. In 2009, he was made the NASCAR Day spokesperson.

With an estimated $320 million fortune as of August 2022, Costner has successfully avoided bankruptcy. He is still active in the acting circuit, playing Jonathan Kent in Zack Snyder's Superman film, "Man of Steel," and starring as a billionaire rancher in "Yellowstone."

Jane Fonda – 84 Years Old – Filming for Book Club 2

Jane Fonda has ruled Hollywood for several decades with two Oscars and more than eight Golden Globe Awards in her bag. "Coming Home" and "The China Syndrome" are notable projects she has worked on and garnered widespread appreciation.

The actress has also been into fitness, having released "Jane Fonda's Workout," her exercise video. It turned out to be the highest-selling video of the last century. Her net worth stands at an impressive $200 million. Though she is in her eighties, Fonda is far from calling it quits. She appeared in the 2022 comedy film, "Moving On." Of late, she has slowed down a bit.

CLAUDIA SCHIFFER - 51 YEARS OLD - STILL ACTIVE BUT LESS BUSY

Compared to the French diva Brigitte Bardot in the early days of her career, the German supermodel/actress Claudia Schiffer is still a worldwide beauty symbol. The woman who made it to an unbelievable 1,000 magazine covers, Schiffer was one of the 'it' girls who marked the '90s, and she took some time off to remember it in 2021.

In October 2021, Schiffer curated the book "Captivate!," which takes a close look at the golden age of the supermodel through a carefully-selected catalog of high-end photos. An occasional actress, Schiffer's been trying her luck as a Hollywood producer as well, and worked in the 2021 movie "The King's Man."

MEL BROOKS – 95 YEARS OLD - VOICE ACTING ON TOP OF ACTING

Born in 1926, Mel Brooks is also one of the last living actors from Hollywood's Golden Age. As you can see in the two photos above, his joyful smile is the one thing about him that hasn't changed over the years. Brooks began his acting career in 1950 and flourished throughout the '70s, not to forget the '90s.

"The Producers," "Blazing Saddles," and "Silent Movie" are among Brooks' best works. You'd think he'd be enjoying retirement at his age, but that's hardly the case. He voiced the characters of Melephant Brooks in "Toy Story 4" and Ernie Blanders in "Grandma for President" in recent years.

MICKEY KUHN – 89 YEARS OLD - WORKED IN THE AIRLINE INDUSTRY AFTER RETIRING FROM ACTING

Mickey Kuhn won acclaim for his part as Beau Wilkes in "Gone with the Wind" when he was only seven years old. He has, however, been appearing on the screens without his consent even before that because he started when he was two years old. Even though  his early exposure gave him the opportunity to become a Hollywood star, he chose to pursue his own ambitions and work with airplanes.

Kuhn worked as an aircraft electrician for the United States Navy while remaining an actor. Only after he had given up his acting profession for good did he pursue college and go on to work for three decades in the administration of "American Airlines."

CLAUDIA WELLS – 55 YEARS OLD – FROM BACK TO THE FUTURE TO CLOTHING STORE MANAGER

The American actress Claudia Wells did what few would do: she walked away from her career at the peak of her popularity to focus on her family. She decided to quit show business shortly after starring in the sci-fi hit movie "Back to the Future" to support her mother. She has since returned to acting and even portrayed the character of 'Jennifer Parker' once more, this time in the video game "Back to the Future: The Game - 30th Anniversary Edition."

In the meantime, Wells kept busy by running her clothing store, called Armani Wells. She also appeared in the 2020 horror movie "Bottle Monster."

Cristina Saralegui – 74 Years Old - Not As Active As Before

With a long and adventurous career in the entertainment industry, it's surprising that Cristina Saralegui, an American actress and journalist, isn't as active as she once was. She made quite an impression as Lydia in two episodes of the ABC sitcom "George Lopez," in which she appeared in 2003. Saralegui, sadly, has not appeared in any movies since.

Nonetheless, in 2012, she began her radio show, "Cristina Radio," on the Sirius XM broadcasting network. Saralegui is still interested in various projects while taking a vacation from the screen and lives in Miami with her family, as she indicated in a 2021 interview with "People En Espanol."

LEA THOMPSON – 61 YEARS OLD – FROM BACK TO THE FUTURE TO HOLLYWOOD DIRECTOR

Don't take us wrong: the American actress Lea Thompson is still working as a movie/TV star. However, she has also been very busy with her job as a director. She started her directorial adventure in 2006 with the movie "Jane Doe: The Harder They Fall" and has not stopped working the job ever since. In 2022, for instance, she directed episodes of "Resident Alien" and "Star Trek: Picard," a show in which she also acted.

If you are not up to Thompson's most recent endeavors, you should recognize her as the woman behind 'Lorraine Baines' from the fan-favorite "Back to the Future" trilogy.

RANDEE HELLER – 74 YEARS OLD – FROM THE KARATE KID TO COBRA KAI

The American actress Randee Heller achieved a lot throughout her career. She appeared in over 90 Hollywood productions, including the acclaimed drama series "Mad Men." However, she will always be best known for her portrayal of 'Lucille LaRusso,' featured in "The Karate Kid" film series. It's truly a decade-spanning role, considering Heller came back as 'Lucille' in the TV series "Cobra Kai."

However, it would be unfair to limit Heller's entire career to just one iconic role. Over the years, she also starred in the 1998 Warren Beatty comedy "Bulworth," the comedy series "Second Chance," and the '80s series "Better Days."

KIM DICKENS – 56 YEARS OLD – ACTING AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL SINCE THE '90S

The career of an actor is often made of ups and downs. But not if you're Kim Dickens. She's been a steady performer since the '90s, and she has a knack for picking up the most interesting scripts in the game. In TV, she made it to the cult-favorite western series "Deadwood," the David Simon HBO show "Treme," the political drama "House of Cards," and—most recently—"Fear the Walking Dead."

She is as tasteful when it comes to choosing her movies. Popularized by '90s flicks such as "Zero Effect" and "Mercury Rising," she appeared in "Thank You for Smoking," "Hollow Man," and "Gone Girl."

DAVIS GUGGENHEIM – 56 YEARS OLD – FROM SON OF A FILMMAKER TO HOLLYWOOD POWERHOUSE

But there's more (much more) to his massively successful career.

While Davis is still busy producing docs such as "Aftershock" and "Mija," he's also worked extensively on fictional projects. Some of the most popular include the TV series "ER," "24," "Alias," "Deadwood," and "NYPD Blue." He's married to "The Karate Kid" star Elisabeth Shue.

MICKEY ROURKE – 69 YEARS OLD - ACTING CAREER IS AS BUSY AS EVER

Mickey Rourke's career as an actor is now in its fourth decade. Given the number of credits he has under his belt, it's not surprising that it's been so long. Did you know that Rourke used to be a professional boxer as well?

Rourke has long ranked among the top most popular celebrities. To put it another way, his fame has never waned, or at least it hasn't so far. "The Wrestler," "Iron Man 2," "The Expendables," and "Immortals" are all among his most noteworthy works. Rourke had a busy year in 2021, having appeared in "Take Back," "Man of God," and "The Seeding."

Demongeot had a recurrent role in the television show "Inside" between 2018 and 2019. She faced a near-fatal experience in April 2020 but has somehow pulled through and is alive and well into her 80s. It doesn't look like she is ready to retire just yet.

NANCY KOVACK – 86 YEARS OLD - RETIRED FROM ACTING

Nancy Kovack, a Flint, Michigan native, was undoubtedly a bright and sparkling student in her younger years. We say this since she began university at the age of 15 and graduated at the age of 19. It doesn't end there, though. Kovack was known for flaunting her beauty in pageants and events, which explains why, at 20, she had won eight titles.

It subsequently paved the way for a two-decade-long acting career.  Among the heaps of her work are "Star Trek," "Bewitched," "Batman," and "I Dream of Jeannie. Kovack has seen success not just in her profession but also in her personal life, boasting a successful marriage of over 50 years.

ROBERT CLARY – 95 YEARS OLD - RETIRED FROM ACTING

Despite suffering through horrific circumstances that no child should ever go through (being deported to a Nazi concentration camp), Robert Clary went on to build a prosperous life for himself rather than make excuses for his bad past. Later in life, he worked as an actor and vocalist, as well as a writer, artist, and lecturer.

Clary has beaten all odds and survived well into his 90s. His lengthy career wrapped up in 2001, but fans will remember him for his roles as Pierre Jourdan in "The Bold and the Beautiful" and Corporal Louis LeBeau on "Horgan's Heroes." He is the sole surviving member of the latter's primary cast.

Voight's career slowed down in the '80s and '90s, but he earned his fame back in the following decade. His portrayal as Howard Cosell in "Ali" landed him an Academy, Golden Globe, and Critics Choice nominations. In 2019, Voight was awarded the National Medal of Arts, and he is also known as the father of actress Angelina Jolie.

ROBERT DE NIRO – 78 YEARS OLD - CONTINUES TO WORK AS AN ACTOR

Robert De Niro has amassed a fortune of half a billion dollars over the course of his long career in show business, which has included acting, producing, and directing. "The Godfather" was likely his most popular film, but it's difficult to say given his involvement in over 100 projects, many of which he produced.

Having appeared in multiple projects like "The War with Grandpa" and "The Comeback Trail" in 2020, De Niro has been away from the screens for most of 2021. Perhaps he took a short break that year, considering his age. Nevertheless, he appears to be in good shape, so we don't anticipate him to retire from the big screen anytime soon.

SHIRLEY ANNE FIELD – 85 YEARS OLD - STILL A WORKING ACTRESS

Shirley Anne Field's childhood was not the most idyllic since she spent most of her time in childcare homes. She went to modeling school and worked as a photographic model for magazines like "Reveille" and "Titbits" and built stability for herself. Field was able to get into show business thanks to the help of an agency.

Field had her breakthrough from "The Entertainer," which came not long after she launched her career. Even though many years have gone by,  her most memorable role will be of Doreen on "Saturday Night and Sunday Morning."  Now in her 80s, Field's last role as of 2021 was in "Beautiful Relics" in 2014.

Stevens was featured in a prominent men's magazine in the '60s because of her jaw-dropping beauty and gorgeous golden tresses. Since 2016, Stevens has been a resident of an Alzheimer's care facility in Los Angeles.

TINA TURNER – 81 YEARS OLD - NOT YET RETIRED BUT NOT AS ACTIVE AS BEFORE

Tina Turner is dubbed the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll" by the music industry. She is no longer as active as she once was, which seems fair considering she passed the retirement age a long time ago. She did, however, sell over 100 million records during the prime of her career, making her one of the most accomplished performers in history.

Turner rose to prominence once she started performing with her then-husband, Ike Turner. Turner's success in the music industry has allowed her to live a sumptuous lifestyle, befitting a genuine queen. "What's Love Got to Do With It," a remix with Kygo, was her most recent release (in 2020).

Bennett's personal life has also seen success, especially his marriage to Susan Crow, going strong since 2007. The album "Love for Sale," which he co-wrote with Lady Gaga, was his most recent release. Bennett, sadly, stopped recording in 2020 and went into complete retirement in 2021. Given his age, it's about time!

WARREN BEATTY – 84 YEARS OLD - NOT AS ACTIVE AS BEFORE

Warren Beatty was in the middle of a liberal arts degree when he chose to pursue acting instead. Well, the change of heart was clearly for the best since his work in Hollywood has netted him $70 million. Beatty has appeared in a variety of projects over the years, including "Bonnie and Clyde," "Dollars," and "Red."

Beatty hasn't been as active as we'd like him to in recent years. Well, after a long run in his line of work, enjoying a break is the least he could do.  However, he took the stage for a brief moment during the 90th "Academy Awards" ceremony to deliver the Best Picture trophy.

Johnson played Winifred Banks in the 1964 Mary Poppins movie alongside Dick Van Dyk and was also nominated for an Oscar for her work on the 1960 film The Sundowners. After Olivia De Havilland passed away in 2020, Johnson became the oldest living Oscar nominee.

For the last one, she received a Golden Globe nomination for best newcomer. This respect led to more roles and another Golden Globe nomination, this time for her role in the 1984 film Under The Volcano.
