Subway High Fashion

Most of us love well-taken photos of ourselves, and this lady decided to do a mini photo session in the subway halls. The courage she portrayed to pose and get the perfect shot in front of the other subway riders is enviable, and turning the place into a runway had an intended impact, as her video immediately went viral.

The lady's identity was revealed to be Jessica George, and she was a trending topic on Twitter, with the users nicknaming her Subway Bae. We hope that she gets a modeling deal as she seems to have all the qualities needed to make it in the fashion industry.

Next Stop, Limberville!

Clearly, yoga on the subway is a thing now! Far from being isolated occurrences, rarely documented for the internet's consumption, witnessing workouts on the daily commute is an increasingly frequent phenomenon.

This is perhaps why the other travelers in the train car surrounding this impressively limber yoga enthusiast seem far from impressed; they barely seem to have noticed her at all! While we're glad the clearly fitness-loving young lady is getting in her daily exercise, we do think choosing to do it on a whooshing train is quite definitely far from the smartest choice!

Yet, sometimes, the simplest of sights can brighten up your day, just like this next picture!

Nothing To See Here!

Subways are exciting places where we see all types of things, including people and their pets. This woman decided to bring along her kitty with her on the ride, and she seems very protective of her, as she has covered her with her coat, ensuring that the cat's warmth and privacy are guaranteed.

While it is a tad strange to transport an animal that way, the fur baby looks comfortable, and we do not doubt that they do make a good pair. Can we stop for a minute and acknowledge the look this woman has given the person who took the image? You better not intrude next time, mate!

Mask On

If you want to see some of the hilarious sleeping positions, then hit the subway. Next to her, this lady and the man take the cake for the best subway snoozers we have ever seen.

It seems like it has been a long day for the duo and the lady decided to take it a notch higher and go incognito. The mask serves her well, but we, just like you, are curious: why is she wearing a show, and where is she going? We have no idea, though, if she's sleeping under the disguise, or she's secretly spying on other travelers. Whatever the case, she looks interestingly ample!

We All Slide, Sometimes

When going out for a night out, you don't plan for misfortunes; you are off to have fun! However, sometimes things happen, and on your way home, you might stumble and fall, but the trick is, finding a humorous way to deal with it.

These ladies seemed to have had the best time of their lives, and they decided to take the subway to their destination; and while going down, one of them missed a step at the bottom of the escalator. While it might have hurt, the photographer captured the moment perfectly, and the image has now become a funny memory forever!

Perfect Insulation

Sometimes, our shoes decide to bail out on us; either they get spoilt, or they are stolen, leaving us barefoot. While it is not a great thing to walk without shoes, many people worldwide have been adopting the barefoot movement, despite doctors advising against it.

This barefooted Russian lady's image went viral in mid-2019, and since then, she has become quite a sensation. We have no idea what happened to her footwear, but regardless of the circumstances, we must point out, her idea of wrapping her feet with plastic is comically ingenious!

The subway is home to all types of people; we all need to take a ride, and so does this little guy. In this case, going by the label on his military jacket, we bet that he is an exotic dancer, probably headed to work to entertain his guests, and there's nothing wrong with that.

No one should be judged by what they do for a living, we all need to put food on our tables, and this guy has it all figured out. We think he doesn't have any free days in his schedule, as going to parties dressed as a military officer is bound to make you famous!

A Sweet Rush

We all get so busy every now and then that our lives spill over into our workplace and sometimes even the morning commute! Take this rather frantic looking young lady, for example; clearly, in a mad rush, her decision to frost a cake on a fast-moving train could only have come from a place of desperation.

Perhaps she's a patisserie student in training late for a class, or that sweet confection is for a loved one waiting at home to celebrate their birthday. Either way, judging by that generous dollop of icing, she's certainly not worried about counting calories!

All Aboard The Svelte-Express

Of all the myriad bewildering sights that one comes across on the subway, this one places high up on that list of bizarrely behaving commuters. Wrapping up some quick confectionary work on a rattling train when running late is one thing, but a full-in yoga workout? Come on!

As much as we are all for healthy living and a fitness-oriented approach in our daily lives, we simply cannot recommend doing this. For starters, the hygiene conditions are quite questionable, and secondly, it's quite far from safe to be trying such unstable poses in a fast-moving public vehicle!

Next up is a case quite at the other end of the everyday style spectrum!

Executive Class

They say dress up for the job you want, but we think these young Millenials only got half the memo! Suited up to the nines in sharp business suits with their crisp ties, the young men seem to be in the midst of a mini board meeting of some sort - on the subway!

We can only speculate about the necessity for such a display, especially when considering that they brought-along a foldout table for a single sheaf of papers. These guys have officially taken being extra to the next level; take it down a notch (or ten), guys, just use an actual office the next time!

These guys' manicures don't hold a candle to the hands of this next subway rider!

Acrylic Overdose

In continuation of the kind of double-take inducing sights on the underground metro, here's quite an unforgettable one. At first glance, it almost looks like a glove, but upon closer inspection, those are some impressively high-maintenance nails, and our very first question is why?

Anyone who has a penchant for gorgeously lustrous and perfectly shaped nails knows that the longer they are, the harder it is to keep them looking flawless. Yet, this subway passenger has clearly taken that to an extreme. As impractical as they are, notice how they're struggling to operate their hands; we must give props for that pristine manicure!

The Metro Moss Man

Right off the bat, we thought it might have been Halloween when looking at this image! But the regularly dressed people surrounding this verdant commuter seem to point otherwise. All Hallows Eve or not, that's one fantastic costume!

Whatever material they used to create that grassy green moss-like texture looks absolutely amazing! Even the neighboring lady seems lost in thought as she gazes at the gold straw strands atop the figure making up its hair!

A Little Self-Care in Times Square

The Times Square subway stop in New York City is one of the busiest in the world but does that automatically make its commuters some of the most rushed ones worldwide too? Just one look at this picture would leave us inclined to think so!

It sure must be an insanely busy life when the only time you find to shave your legs is while waiting for your daily ride to show up! Well, at least let's give this lady props for sheer nerve as she's clearly completely unbothered despite the throngs of people surrounding her!

The even more audacious young woman we have up next is not one to be left behind!

Zen Vibes

One of the undisputed joys of riding the subway is getting to appreciate just what a true melting pot of cultures modern-day urban settlements have become - You see all kinds of everyday folks rubbing shoulders on public transport.

This picture is such a great example of the point. Images like this simply go to show that true acceptance and tolerance are very much attainable ideals for present-day society. We can't help but smile upon seeing two such polar opposites chilling side-by-side on their daily commute - here's to peace and unity for all!

Unwelcome Appliances

With the multitude of people who ride the subway, germaphobes must really have a hard time with the mere thought of hanging onto a subway pole. They’re touched by millions and rarely cleaned, so we have to give props to this girl for bringing her own solution to the scene.

There’s only one issue though; it’s the last of the household appliances one would hope to see on their morning commute to work. Yet, it provides steady suction to the roof, and balance to the girl. As long as it hasn’t come straight from her toilet, we guess there’s no reason to be irked out.

Subway Apparitions

Imagine if you’re a devotee and stepped onto the train to see this vision. It might feel like you’re experiencing an epiphany for a second, as he bears a striking resemblance to Jesus.

While many sport the stylish, long beard and hair look, this guy has actually put in the effort to look the part from head to toe. That long, grey garment, coupled with a book in hand that could well be the bible, anyone would think of the Prince of Peace right away. Maybe he’s playing a role in a play?

An Art Installation?

It’s a miracle if you’ve never seen a snoozer (or been one) on the subway. Either on a long commute to work and after a tiring day in the office, people are bound to catch some shut-eye on the moving train. Yet, a mass snooze-session like the one captured is quite far from the ordinary sightings.

Why? These guys are all wearing matching outfits in addition to being quite handsome. The whole aesthetic of the wardrobe and the positions they’ve dozed off so artfully arranged that the sight that looks like a human art installation or a modern-day renaissance painting!

Meat To Go

We bet there are instances where you forgot to pick up something for dinner before getting to the subway. Well, if you’re in the mood for a juicy steak or roast, you’re in luck! The catch- you’d have to be in China!

Several subways from the country, including Cheongdam station, have apparently started operations to sell an array of agricultural products on the subway since 2008. The best part is that they are 30% cheaper than retail prices! It looks like catching the train would save some big bucks over there.

The Well-Mannered Doggo

London’s subway has strict regulations about transporting pets. They shouldn’t appear dangerous, they aren’t allowed on the seats, and they should either be leashed or in a crate. This glorious Great Dane is abiding by none of the rules, but he does seem surprisingly calm as he’s literally perched on the seat.

It appears huge; according to a Reddit blogger, the pooch was spotted being carried on the escalator. At least the owner bowed down to one rule! Although, that’s out of love for the doggo, as it might hurt the canine’s paws while getting on and off.

A Metro Catfight?

This scene seems so bizarre, and one can only wonder what happened beforehand. With the plethora of manes lying around and scattered haphazardly, it’s only probable that it was a nasty catfight.

The passersby must have had the time of their life seeing wigs flying about as two (or more) battled it out over a hi-jacked seat or a heel-stepping-on-foot situation. As vicious as it must have been like many other subway fights caught on tape, we’d love to see that video, just to spot the hilarious moment of balding between the fighters.

We know that the subway is full of strange mysteries and events, but some people, like the man pictured here, clearly just want to be left alone, and perhaps this is why he's glued to his cellular phone's screen.

The guy definitely missed out on a grand adventure today as he somehow didn't see the random sandwich that got stuck in the train door! We feel bad for the person who lost their lunch, but we're thankful for the photographer who didn't miss this once-in-a-blue-moon occurrence! We hope you got a replacement for that lost meal, sir!

Good Dolly Miss Molly!

You see some very weird things on trains and this lady and her macabre custom jacket is no exception to that rule! Although it's not quite clear what's going on here, we love to speculate on these things, so let's go!

We are not sure if she wanted to make a fashion statement or if she just loves dolls so much that she has to have them around all the time. Maybe she's gearing up to perform some sort of toy-inspired ritual that needs these playthings to work. Whatever it is, it's sure giving us the creeps!

A smile can be an inviting gesture if it's displayed in the right way, and it can make people want to be in your company. However, it does beg the question of what could be done if you didn't want anyone near you.

This person has found the answer to that, with their creepy clown mask with an ear to ear grin! Would you want to sit next to someone with this covering on their face? No, you wouldn't, and we don't blame you. We wouldn't either. Bonus points for creativity to this guy, though!

You have to admire some folks' ingenuity, and we think this man is a prime example of what it takes to be a professional subway commuter.

It's clear that this man knows that he needs his rest between stops and that he knows just precisely how to get this done! If you think about it, carrying around a hammock isn't really a burden, and it means that you are prepared to nap to your full potential! This is definitely a trick that we're going to keep up our sleeves from now on!

We understand that some people take their gaming very seriously. After all, some players make a lot of money from partaking in events for specific games, and they need to be connected twenty-four-seven.

However, this person might be taking it a little too far by bringing his entire flatscreen along on his subway ride!
